With the help of Illinois Soybean Checkoff Board funds, researchers at the University of Illinois are tracking the movements and characteristics of many of the pests that plague Illinois farmers. Such pests would include the Japanese beetle, bean leaf beetle, soybean aphids, and cyst nematodes. In tracking these pests they can be better informed on their characteristics and habitis as well as be able to help educate farmers that may be getting a visit from these pests in the future.
